Exploding the many myths of Haworth

History Walk, KS3/4

Haworth is a small place with a big history, and one that contains as many myths as truths. Why is Haworth’s past associated so much with the wild romantic moorland scenery surrounding it, when it was also industrial, squalid and crowded? Why do we think of it as isolated when a busy thoroughfare ran through the village and it’s only nine miles from Bradford? Book on our History Walk and let your students explore Haworth then and now to answer these questions for themselves.

£7 per pupil, including Museum entry
