Biggest facelift in 25 years, thanks to new scientific evidence
Following an extensive programme of decorative archaeology carried out in 2011, the historic rooms of the Brontë Parsonage Museum will undergo a programme of redecoration, to reopen on 9 February 2013, offering visitors a more authentic Brontë experience. This major project will be accompanied by the new exhibition Heaven is a Home: The Story of the Brontës' Parsonage, which opens on 23 March, 2013. An exciting programme of special events to celebrate the new decorative scheme will take place throughout 2013.
