Wild Wednesday!  Flights of Fancy, Wednesday 30 May 11am-4pm
Emily loved birds and in her novel Wuthering Heights, lots of different kinds are mentioned such as larks, lapwings, linnets, cuckoos – all birds she would have known from her walks on the moors. Emily even looked after a hawk with a broken wing for a while which she called Nero, and painted a beautiful picture of him. Be inspired by Emily and all feathery things, and make your own lovely bird out of paper – it will even have wings that move! Let your imagination fly.
