The Brontë sisters each owned a portable wooden writing slope, upon which they produced their astonishing poetry and fiction. these three desks have been preserved as they were found at the time of the sisters' deaths, and contain myriad seals, cards, stationery and letters. Join us after-hours at the Museum as we display the desks and their contents together for the very first time, as part of an exclusive event in our research library.
