Ensuring the safety of our nation's treasures

Ensuring the safety of our nation's treasures

The Brontë Parsonage Museum creates a safe haven for the treasures that are the Brontës' possessions, manuscripts, letters, and much more. Once they are here we know as certainly as we can that they are safe and well looked-after.  But to professionally clean, repair and conserve the collection, keeping these precious items safe, costs a lot of money. That's where your generous donations become so vitally important.

If you are a UK tax payer you can further support the Society and Museum by signing a Gift Aid form at no extra cost to you. This means that the charity can recover basic-rate tax on your donation, provided you pay income tax (including tax deducted on any wage or salary under PAYE rules) or capital gains tax, equal to the amount of relief the charity is claiming, in the tax year the donation is made. All you need do is to select 'Yes' in the Gift Aid box on the donation form.

We promise that any information you give will be used for Brontë Society purposes only.

Thank you.
