Using the Brontë legacy as a creative springboard

Using the Brontë legacy as a creative springboard

The place held by the Brontës in our cultural imagination has been secured by the creativity of hundreds of artists and writers who have used the Brontes' legacy - both biographical and literary - as as jumping-off point to produce new and exciting work. Thanks to Arts Council England, we have been able to fund exciting new work by contemporary artists, but we continually need help to keep up our vital work in this area - and that's where your kind donations can be of invaluable assistance.

If you are a UK tax payer you can further support the Society and Museum by signing a Gift Aid form at no extra cost to you. This means that the charity can recover basic-rate tax on your donation, provided you pay income tax (including tax deducted on any wage or salary under PAYE rules) or capital gains tax, equal to the amount of relief the charity is claiming, in the tax year the donation is made. All you need do is to select 'Yes' in the Gift Aid box on the donation form.

We promise that any information you give will be used for Brontë Society purposes only.

Thank you.
