THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED

Like all her sisters, Anne Brontë was a talented visual artist, and she received instruction from a drawing master throughout childhood and adolescence. When developing her ideas for The Tenant of Wildfell Hall, she chose to depict her heroine Helen Graham as an accomplished artist supporting herself and her son financially through her work. Join us after-hours to explore
both Helen and Anne’s art in more detail, and get close up with items from our collection.

Tickets £22.50/£20 concessions. Places are limited, so early booking is advised. Please book in advance using the booking tool on this page or by calling 01535 640192. Attendees are invited to join us from 7pm for a complimentary drink.
