The Brontë Mysteries

We are delighted to be joined by author Rowan Coleman for our last Brontë Lounge fundraiser of the year.

In this zoom event, Rowan will talk to our host Helen Meller about her lifelong interest in the Brontës, her love for Haworth and the Parsonage and the inspiration behind her series of Brontë mystery novels, penned under the pseudonym Bella Ellis.

Rowan Coleman is the award-winning author of more than twelve novels including The Memory Book, The Summer of Impossible Things and The Girl at the Window which is set at Ponden Hall, in the heart of Brontë country.  In 2019, Rowan published The Vanished Bride under the Brontë-esque pseudonym of Bella Ellis in the first of a series of novels which imagine the Brontë sisters as amateur sleuths. The Diabolical Bones, the second book in the Brontë Mysteries series, was published in early November.

Tickets cost £5 and the event will start at 7.30pm UK time (GMT+1)
This event will take place via zoom.  It is a live event and will not be recorded.

The Brontë Society is a registered charity and this event has been organised to raise funds for the Brontë Parsonage Museum at this challenging time.

Full details of how to join the event will be sent once you have booked your place.

Please note that many museum staff are still furloughed or working from home, so at times, there may not be anyone one in the office to take your call. Please email bookings@bronte.org.uk if you have any queries about this event.

Thank you for your support.  We look forward to welcoming you to the Brontë Lounge soon!
