Meet Emma Adams, author of "Tiny Shoes"

The Brontë Parsonage Museum will be open until 8pm on Thursday 15 September. Come along and enjoy the special atmosphere of the house in the evening light.

There will also be an opportunity to meet and speak with the writer Emma Adams, author of Tiny Shoes – a specially-commissioned audio play currently being hosted by the Parsonage in collaboration with West Yorkshire Playhouse as part of their Brontë Season for this year’s Brontë200 celebrations.

Emma’s work ranges from dark political satire for adults to adventure comedy for children. She has written for Red Ladder, Slung Low, Theatre 503, Freedom Studios, Ovalhouse and Paines Plough, and recently completed work for CBBC’s New Voices Initiative. Three of her plays have toured nationally. Two of these, Ugly and Animals, are published by Oberon. She is currently developing further projects for television.

Emma will be very happy to speak with visitors about the development of the Tiny Shoes project as well as more generally about her work as a playwright. Not to be missed!

Usual admission prices apply. Advance booking not required.
