Visit us during the school holidays

The Museum is bustling during the school holidays and visitors can enjoy a range of events for all the family. Join us for short guided walks, museum trails and ‘hands on history’ sessions.

Informal drop-in talks or walks
3rd, 5th, 11th, 12th, 13th and 19th of April at 2:30pm

Join us for a walk around the environs of the Parsonage and find out a little about the Brontes and their lives in Haworth. If the weathers really bad, there will be a talk in our Learning area instead.

Hands on History
10th, 11th, 18th, 20th of April, 1pm- 4pm

Get your hands on some domestic artefacts from the Brontës time and see if you can work out some intriguing puzzles… You can even try your hand at a bit of cross stitch!

Meet John Brown
11th and 18th of April, in the afternoon
Branwell’s friend John Brown is in and out of the Parsonage today looking for him. He’s supposed to be taking Branwell to Liverpool for a few days of ‘recuperation’, but he’s nowhere to be seen.  John’s in chatty mood though, so if you come across him today, he’s sure to share a few Branwell anecdotes…

Meet Ellen Nussey
Good Friday, in the morning

Charlotte's friend Ellen Nussey has come to visit her in the Parsonage. Ellen is in a chatty mood and will be happy to share some Brontë related anecdotes with you.
