A writing workshop with Rachel Joyce

Join dramatist Rachel Joyce for a writing workshop on adapting your favourite fictional chatacter and bringing them to life for radio drama. Bring along an idea of your preferred protagonist as Rachel guides you through finding clues to the character's history and recreating them through dialogue, as well as building a personality for those minor characters who you may only have a few details about.

Rachel Joyce is the author of bestsellers The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry, The Love Song of Miss Queenie Hennessey and The Music Shop. Her work has been translated into thirty-six languages. Rachel has also written over twenty original afternoon plays and adaptations of the classics for BBC Radio 4, including all seven Brontë novels.
