Mark the birthday of the remarkable Patrick Brontë

Mark the birthday of the remarkable Patrick Brontë

Come and help us celebrate and remember the inspirational father of the Brontë sisters!

Patrick Brontë was first offered the post of perpetual curate in Haworth in 1819 and after a long, drawn-out process, he eventually  made the move to Haworth in April 1820. The Brontë family are central to the Haworth story, but what was Haworth like when the  Brontë family arrived? This St Patrick’s Day, we’re launching a project to bring the history of Haworth to life, so please come along
and learn how you can get involved. We’ll also be joined by some special guests, including Zaffar Kunial, our writer in residence, who will read from his new collection Us and talk about his plans for the residency.

There will be lots going on, so make sure to head to Haworth this St Patrick's Day!
