A programme of talks and readings by contemporary writers
We champion new writing, working with established and emerging talent on events, exhibitions, and new commissioned work. Our literature programme runs year round, with writers such as Simon Armitage, Helen Oyeyemi, Patience Agbabi, Tracy Chevalier, and Zaffar Kunial contributing to our events and exhibitions.
Our live literature programme attracts some of the most exciting contemporary writers through our Poetry at the Parsonage and the Contemporary Womens Writing strands, and our workshops provide a space for inspiration and to develop your work.
