Tamar Stone created a miniature bed for four of the Brontë siblings - a sort of book of their domestic lives, embroidered all over with their words and displayed in the tiny room they played and sometimes slept in. Stone is a New York artist whose work deals in women's personal stories, history and 'her-stories'. As a book artist she often uses miniature beds as a way to tell the stories of women, though the layers of bed coverings.
