Dressing the Brontës: Tom Pye in-conversation with Eleanor Houghton
Don’t miss this special online event continuing our celebration of 10 years of Sally Wainwright’s To Walk Invisible. Costume and set designer Tom Pye will be sharing some of his memories of bringing the Brontës’ wardrobe to the screen.
Pye’s recent credits include the stage design for Paddington: The Musical and the RSC production of My Neighbour Totoro, as well as the costume design for Sally Wainwright’s Disney+ drama Renegade Nell.
Tom will be joined by writer, illustrator and historical costume consultant Eleanor Houghton, author of Charlotte Brontë’s Life Through Clothes and co-curator of our 2022 exhibition ‘Defying Expectations: Inside Charlotte Brontë’s Wardrobe’.
Please note, this ticket is only refundable if the event is cancelled, in which case we’ll contact you. We reserve the right to make changes to our programme. All information is correct at the time of booking.
