David Morley is an award-winning poet whose collection FURY was a Poetry Book Society Choice and shortlisted for the Forward Prize. He received the Ted Hughes Award for The Invisible Gift: Selected Poems. His books include Passion, The Magic of What’s There, The Gypsy and the Poet, Enchantment, and The Invisible Kings. He is a Professor at Warwick University and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature. His love of bogs began during his early career as a zoologist researching acid rain in the Lake District.
