Jane Clarke is the author of four poetry collections, The River (2015), When the Tree Falls (2019), A Change in the Air (2023) and Coracle (2026) published by Bloodaxe. She edited the illustrated anthology Windfall: Irish Nature Poems to Inspire and Connect (Hachette Books Ireland, 2023) and co-wrote The Hare's Corner: Making Space for Nature (New Island Books, 2025). Jane grew up on a farm, studied English and Philosophy in Trinity College, Dublin and worked in community development and psychotherapy. A Change in the Air, was shortlisted for the T.S. Eliot Prize and the Forward Prize in 2023.
