To accompany the release of an exciting new work commissioned by the Brontë Parsonage Museum, Haworth-based artist Letty McHugh talks to Sassy Holmes about her process, reflecting on both her connection to nature and experience observing the outside world as an artist based in rural Yorkshire.
Letty recently won the Barbellion prize and had a solo exhibition ‘Anchorage’ at the Attenborough Arts Centre in Leicester. The Brontë Parsonage Museum have commissioned local artist Letty McHugh to create a piece of work about her experience of nature and the outside world.
Copies of Letty's mixed media work will be available to buy online from the Brontë Shop.
