Helen Burrow’s photography invites us to think of the Brontës as a family of real people by exploring the places that they spent the minutes and hours of their days. Helen first felt an unexpected connection with the Brontës when she saw the personal possessions of this creative family at the Brontë Parsonage Museum ten years ago. She is still adding to her collection of photographs and this year she visited Drumballyroney  to photograph the church where Patrick’s sister Juliet remembers Patrick preaching his first sermon.
