With a theme inspired by the Brontë Parsonage Museum’s ‘year of the wild’, which examines the Brontës’ connection to nature and the landscape, this year’s festival promises a rich programme of events celebrating female creativity, including talks, panel discussions, creative workshops, and more!

Set in the beautiful village of Haworth against the backdrop of the Brontës’ inspirational former home, the Brontë Festival of Women’s Writing promises to be an inspiring and empowering weekend for literature fans and nature-lovers alike.
The festival will take place from Friday 22 September to Sunday 24 September 2023.

About the festival
The Brontë Festival of Women’s Writing champions female creativity and celebrates the legacy of the UK’s most famous literary sisters – the Brontës. Every year in Haworth, West Yorkshire, former home of the Brontë family, the Brontë Parsonage Museum produces a weekend of events, talks and workshops that seek to inspire, entertain and intrigue visitors from across the world.
