We are delighted to announce that following an extremely successful recruitment campaign, attracting almost forty applications, the Brontë Society has appointed three new trustees to the Board.
We’re excited to welcome Alex Wild, Morag Walsh Barnes, and Marguerite Nugent to the Brontë Society Board of Trustees. Alex works as a Creative and Cultural Development Officer for North Yorkshire, Marguerite is Cultural Director at Culture Coventry Trust, and Morag works in philanthropy at the National Gallery.
Lucy Powrie, Chair of the Brontë Society Board of Trustees, said, “It has been a privilege for me and the members of the Nominations Committee to hear from, and meet with, so many talented and experienced candidates and we are grateful to everyone who took the time to apply. Alex, Marguerite and Morag bring valuable expertise to the Board at an exciting time in our organisation’s history, and we look forward to working with them and the Senior Leadership Team to realise our aims and ambitions for the years ahead.”
