The Knitting Witch recreated a key scene in
Jane Eyre - in wool!
Denise Salway (aka The Knitting Witch) taught herself to knit at age 14 because she needed a cardigan. Later, while looking after her son, she knitted individual favours for guests at a wedding and discovered her unique talent for making portraits out of wool. Amongst other figures, she has knitted Darth Vader, Elvis, Girl with a Pearl Earring, Van Gogh and all the characters from The Hobbit.
