Join us at the Brontë Parsonage Museum for a screening of Hollywood’s 1939 Wuthering Heights, the earliest surviving film of the novel. Starring Merle Oberon and Laurence Olivier, it remains, for many, one of the best versions of Wuthering Heights – not necessarily due to its faithful rendering of the story – it does take liberties – but because it is regarded by many as a masterpiece of romantic filmmaking. Come along, watch and let us know what you think!

Refreshments will be provided.

If the event is cancelled, we’ll contact you. We reserve the right to make changes to our programme. All information is correct at the time of booking.
