In Cinemas Valentine's Day 2026

The first trailer for Emerald Fennell's hotly-anticipated film "Wuthering Heights" has been released. Excitement is building as audiences have been given a first look at the film starring Margot Robbie as Catherine Earnshaw and Jacob Elordi as Heathcliff. 

The Museum is looking forward to welcoming Emerald Fennell to their fifteenth annual Brontë Women's Writing Festival at the end of September. This sold-out event will give people the chance to hear from the Oscar and BAFTA-winning writer, about her experiences writing novels and screenplays. Fennell is the author of the 'Shiverton Hall' series and 'Monsters', her other writing credits include 'Saltburn', 'Promising Young Woman', and 'Killing Eve'.

The film also stars Oscar nominee Hong Chau, Shazad Latif, Alison Oliver, BAFTA winner Martin Clunes and Ewan Mitchell. 

Emerald Fennell directs from her own screenplay.  The producers are Oscar nominee and BAFTA award winner Josey McNamara, Emerald Fennell and Margot Robbie. Sara Desmond and Oscar nominee Tom Ackerley are executive producing.

Warner Bros. Pictures and MRC Present A Lie Still & LuckyChap Entertainment Production, a film by Emerald Fennell, “WUTHERING HEIGHTS.”  Distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, the film will be in cinemas on Valentine's Day, 2026.
