Helping our fundraising

Like many museums, galleries and arts organisations across the world, the Brontë Parsonage Museum has suffered financially due to the Covid-19 pandesmic.  And, like the majority of those other institutions and organisations, we are a registered charity.  Although our work is supported by Arts Council England, we rely heavily on income from admission fees and our event and learning programmes to run our inspirational museum.

We understand that the pandemic has caused challenging times for all of us, but if you make a donation today, you will be helping us to safeguard the museum and access to our collection.  We are determined and motivated to continue to fulfil our mission to 'bring the Brontës to the world and the world to Yorkshire', and any gift you can make today will help us to do just that.

June 2021: Campaign to Save the Honresfield Library

We are delighted to  be part of a funding consortium led by the Friends of the National Libraries to save the Honresfield Library for the nation. The Honrefield Collection contains over 500 important manuscripts, with Bronte material at its heart.  For more information and to donate specifically to the campaign, please head to  https://www.fnl.org.uk/articles/50-fnl-forms-consortium-to-save-literary-treasure-trove-for-the-nation
