Kitty Wright, Executive Director Kitty leads the Museum team, working with the senior managers to generate exciting programmes, build fruitful partnerships, find new sources of income and engage new audiences. Her vision is for us to work together to capitalise on our extraordinary assets, history and international reputation, and our location in glorious Yorkshire.
Clare Dewhirst, Head of Finance As Head of Finance, Clare oversees our budgets and prepares our accounts.
Ann Dinsdale, Principal Curator Ann is in charge of researching, curating and caring for items for the world's largest collection of documents and items associated with the Brontës. She has worked for the Brontë Society for over 25 years and is the author of several authoritative books about the Brontës and Haworth.
Rebecca Yorke, Head of Communications & Marketing Rebecca looks after the Society’s communications, PR and marketing and leads the Audience Development team. If you have a media-related enquiry or are a journalist who would like to be added to our press list, please drop Rebecca a line.
Alison Boardman, Management Support Officer Alison is PA to the Executive Director and Board of Trustees. Alison also provides administrative and hr support to the Senior Management Team and other key personnel at the Museum.
Sue Newby, Learning Officer Sue leads on our Learning programme and work with young people, planning and delivering workshops, walks and talks for groups of students of all ages and interests. Whether you would like to bring a school group or your book club, Sue is the person to contact to help you make the most of your day. You’re never too late to learn!
Linda Ling, Membership Officer Linda leads on the development of our membership scheme, looks after Brontë Society members and deals with all your membership queries. Not a member yet? Contact Linda!
Harry Jelley, Audience Development Officer Harry leads on our Contemporary Arts programme. He works with our creative partners, commissioning new artworks and programming exhibitions and events to promote the legacy of the Brontes and their work.
Lauren Livesey, Audience Development Officer Lauren leads on our events programme, working with colleagues across the Museum to devise and deliver different ways of exploring and promoting the continuing legacy of the Brontës.
Diane Fare, Audience Development Officer Diane leads on our Outreach programme, developing partnerships and projects to bring new and diverse audiences to the Museum. Diane also leads on our programme of conferences and study days.
Our Front of House team Museum Manager Nicola Peel leads our team of museum assistants and volunteers with Deputy Managers David Sweeting and Peter Dilley. Together they ensure all our visitors have a high-quality experience at the Museum.
Sarah Laycock, Curator Sarah cares for the Museum’s collection; she organises exhibitions, incoming / outgoing loans, new acquisitions and all aspects of curatorial care. Sarah also deals with enquiries about the collection and researchers visiting the library.
Danielle Cadamarteri, Retail Manager Danielle runs our Museum Shop, sourcing suppliers and commissioning new products.
