Host Yvette Huddleston will be in conversation with the two authors discussing their novels and how they’ve both been inspired by the Brontës' writing.

Tracy Chevalier is the author of 11 novels, including her latest, The Glassmaker, as well as Girl with a Pearl Earring, an international bestseller that has sold over 5 million copies, been translated into 45 languages and been made into a film, a play and an opera. Her novels often focus on makers and making throughout history. In 2016, Tracy was the Brontë Parsonage Museum’s guest curator for Charlotte’s bicentenary, where she also published the collection Reader, I Married Him.
Holly Ringland is one of Australia’s bestselling and most loved Australian writers. She is the author of two internationally bestselling and multi-award-winning novels, The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart and The Seven Skins of Esther Wilding. In 2023, The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart was adapted for an award-winning seven-episode series for Prime Video, starring Sigourney Weaver. Holly attended Manchester University, and it was while studying there that she fell in love with Wuthering Heights and Jane Eyre, which inspired her first novel.
