180 years ago, the first publication by the “Bells” appeared: an obscure volume of poems which sold only two copies. Eighteen months later Jane Eyre would become a bestseller.

This Parsonage Unwrapped will be delivered by author, teacher and Museum volunteer Tamar Yellin and Principal Curator Ann Dinsdale. They will be exploring the history of Poems by Currer, Ellis and Acton Bell through Museum objects and artefacts related to the publication.

Join us from 5pm for a complimentary drink. The event will then start at 5:30pm.

Please note, this ticket is only refundable if the event is cancelled, in which case we’ll contact you. We reserve the right to make changes to our programme.
