Who were the Brontë sisters? 

Charlotte, Emily, and Anne Brontë were born in a small, Yorkshire town in the early 1800s. They would go on to write some of the most extraordinary novels in the history of English literature.

Since 1893, the Brontë Society has welcomed a worldwide membership. Your support helps us continue the legacy of the Brontë family and their much-loved works.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Staff are really friendly and knowledgeable, and the museum provides a fascinating insight into the lives of the Brontes.
