There will be a Brontë related talk prior to the meeting at 2.00pm and full details of the talk will be confirmed at a later date.
Consider going 'paper-free' for our AGM!
Going 'paper-free' for the AGM means we can save money on printing and postage, which we can then spend elsewhere in the museum, such as on preserving our collection.
If you would be happy to go 'paper-free' and would like any assistance updating your contact preferences please email [email protected], or call 01535 843235. Alternatively, you can change your contact preferences via your account on our website, simply login and go to 'Account', then select 'Contact Preferences' from the menu on the left.
We would be very grateful if you would make this update to your Consent Preferences by Thursday 31 July.

Arcola Theatre and Green Opera proudly present John Joubert’s Jane Eyre
“I am no bird; and no net ensnares me.”
Arcola Theatre and Green Opera proudly present John Joubert’s Jane Eyre—his final opera, now fully staged for the first time. First heard in concert with the English Symphony Orchestra under Kenneth Woods, this bold adaptation of Charlotte Brontë’s novel follows one woman’s fight for freedom and fulfilment on her own terms. As Green Opera’s second production of the season and fifth for the Grimeborn Opera Festival, Jane Eyre continues the company’s mission to combine dramatic vision with environmentally conscious practices.
Tickets available here. As an exclusive offer to Brontë Society members, use code BRONTE20 to get your tickets for £20!
Please note: This event is not organised by the Brontë Parsonage Museum.
