Brontë Juvenilia: An online five-week course

This 5 week course takes us on a deep dive into the world of the Brontë Juvenilia, exploring the fantastical worlds they created, full of intrigue, adventure, war and scandal. 

We'll explore what the Brontës' juvenilia reveals about their attitudes towards empire and desire. We'll also map how the sisters' writing develops across their juvenile work and lays the groundwork for their later fiction. After reading short stories and poems from the juvenilia, you may see the Brontës in a new light!
